Description
The Cherry Plum is one of the first trees to blossom in the UK.
An erect, rounded, broadleaf tree producing small, white showy flowers in spring and often good autumn foliage colour; Sometimes followed by edible yellowish or red cherry-like fruit.
Growing Conditions:
Grow in moderately fertile soil in full sun.
Value To Wildlife:
Bees and pollinators and attracted to its flowers, while birds and other wildlife eat the ripe fruit.
Important Note:
You’ll receive a 2 year old well established whip that’s between 20 to 60cm in height.
This is a deciduous tree and so will shed its leaves in autumn, in order to protect itself from the cold winter weather. Come spring, it’ll burst back into bud and begin to flourish once more.
