Description
A wonderful tall tree with dark green, heart-shaped leaves that turn yellow in autumn.
It’s blossom produce a sweet scent and pleasantly minty honey in the summer months, with insect are particularly attracted to.
Winged fruits are produced in late autumn.
Can be grow as single specimen tree or as avenue trees.
Growing Conditions:
Avoid growing in very dry conditions or exposure to very strong winds
Value To Wildlife:
Great food source to caterpillars, bees and other pollinators and insects.
Important Note:
You’ll receive a 2 year old well established whip that’s between 20 to 60cm in height.
This is a deciduous tree and so will shed its leaves in autumn, in order to protect itself from the cold winter weather. Come spring, it’ll burst back into bud and begin to flourish once more.
