Description

A large, sometimes thorny tree with dark green leaves, a domed crown and pretty white flowers at springtime.
Edible pears are produced in early autumn and ripen ready for picking in the later autumnal months.
Grow either as a specimen tree or in a woodland or hedgerow setting.

Growing Conditions:
Grows best in fertile, well-drained soil and position in full sun.

Value To Wildlife:
The fruit is enjoyed by birds, including as thrushes and blackbirds, and the flowers attract bees and other pollinators.

You’ll receive a 2 year old well established whip that’s between 20 to 60cm in height.

Care + Advice

It is best to plant your trees within a week or two weeks of arrival.
Remember, when your trees arrive we advise to keep them upright, well-watered and away from strong sunlight and high winds.
